Installation

  1. Supported Browsers: MetaMask is available as an extension for Google Chrome, Firefox, Brave, and Microsoft Edge.

  2. Download and Install: Visit the official MetaMask website and download the extension for your preferred browser. Follow the instructions to install it.

Setup

  1. Creating a Wallet:

    • Open the MetaMask extension.

    • Click "Get Started" and choose "Create a Wallet."

    • Create a strong password and agree to the terms of use.

    • Securely store your seed phrase (secret recovery phrase). This is crucial for recovering your wallet if you forget your password or lose access to your device.

  2. Importing an Existing Wallet:

    • If you already have a wallet, select "Import Wallet."

    • Enter your seed phrase and set a new password.
